The Lindberg Foundation’s
International POETRY FOR PEACE Contest 2010

Poetry for Peace 2010 will be collecting entries through July 15, 2010.

Poems must be previously unpublished work of the submitter, in English. The Foundation receives full but nonexclusive publication rights to the prizewinning poem and honorable-mention winners. An editorial board will make a selection for publication.

Through our artistic and aesthetic endeavors let us spread the message of hope for a better world! True Peace and Loving kindness in our current turbulent world, may seem unobtainable, yet poets are the ones that make the unachievable possible.

Please submit poems in either of these ways:

  • From this site: Email up to three poems of no more than fifty lines each, plus a Pay Pal payment of $10.
Your entry is not complete until you have paid the registration fee.
  • Or mail in 3 copies of your entry (up to three poems of no more than fifty lines each), plus a check for $10, with your name and address, to the Lindberg Foundation, c/o CPA, Dov Meir, P.O. Box 65037, Tel Aviv 61650, Israel.

A first prize of $500 will be announced on October 11, 2010, at a poetry and music event, which will also mark the 35th anniversary of Miriam F. Lindberg’s passing. The foundation will publish the winning poems (once the poem is published in the book, copyright reverts to the author.)
